Hi my name is Blackfoot I'm from Dallas Texas and I just purchased me a s500 2000 Mercedes can anyone tell me how to open the side mirrors

No I'm from Texas I have never been in extreme cold weather if your pertaining to my name that's my family's tribe

I think he's pertaining to the car. I had the same issue with my MB when I lived in El Paso. When it was cold (it snowed in EP) the mirrors wouldn't operate because frozen. Also when it snowed it will do the same. When in cold climates I just disable the function. It's a cool function but not very functional

Thank you very much. we had real bad weather here last year an the car sit outside for a year so how do you get them unlock I can see them move when I push the button but they will not unfold

Two ways that I know of one is to let them defrost and the second is not recommended but I pulled them back into position after chipping off the ice or snow lol
