First Time Mercedes Owner (2008 S550 4Matic)

Hello everyone,

I just purchased a 2008 S550 4Matic last week and wanted to introduce myself to the fellow forum members. I have owned a 2006 Pontiac GTO for the last 8 years and was finally able to afford to get myself a second, more comfortable and family friendly car.

After spending lots of money on modifications for the GTO, it turned into a pretty fun car for the track, but not so much for everyday driving. It is still fun on the street, but after just a few hours of driving, I would be completely drained and beat up. Hence the need for a more comfortable car.

So far, I am very pleased with the comfort and luxury of the Mercedes and cannot ask for anything more. Just keeping my fingers crossed that it runs relatively trouble free for at least a little while. I got it with 84,000 miles on the odometer, which I think is pretty good for a car of its age, and am looking forward to adding many more miles to it.

I am also looking forward to learning as much as I can about the car and using the forum to help me with any issues I may have in the future.

Thanks for reading,
Simeon

A new car is a lot more than just a new set of wheels. It is something with which you will associate beautiful memories. Congratulations.

On another note, what part of BG are you from, hope you don't mind me asking?

Welcome to MBworld and grats on picking up that flagship MB. Top of the line comfort and luxury and a completely different boss experience compared to the raw GTO.

Let us know if you ever want to update any of her lighting to really add a nice modern touch with whiter and brighter LEDs

Thanks! I was a little confused for a moment there where it said my nationality but then I realized you could tell from my name.

I'm from a small town, Levski, near Pleven.
