New to MB with a S550 Cabriolet
Hello all, my name is Jeff and I live in good ole Massachusetts. Just bought a 2017 S550 Cabriolet black with black designo interior, fully loaded with all options. New from california. So stoked.
I'm a Lincoln man. I own a BOB 1995 Lincoln Mark VIII Convertible (1of 23 convertibles made by Custom Coach Builders between 94 and 95). I have had the car further modified including complete strip of interior, engine bay, framing underneath, and added new bracing, new supercharged 4.6dohc putting 375hp and 420 ftlbs at the wheels. Also have the 2nd gen interior with all the 1997 Lincoln luxuries. Still rides on air too.
I also have a 1996 Black on Light Graphite Lincoln Mark VIII LSC that has also been fully stripped, acid etched (vert too), coated, with a supercharged 4.6 dohc putting 405hp and 425ftlbs at the wheels through a 6 speed manual. Original interior but upgraded steering wheel and door panels from a 98 Mark VIII.
I also have a stock 2004 Harley Vrod B model with the Black frame and anodized aluminium skins.
My daily is a 2017 BOB Lincoln MKZ reserve with the 3.0 twin turbo ecoboost with 400hp and 400 ftlbs at the crank, AWD with all options including stop and go adaptive cruise.
So looking forward to getting this Benz in another week or so (currently on transport from Cali). No real rush though since I won't drive it till after a few good spring cleaning rain storms. I may or may not have questions, but will be doing a lot of reading on here. The internet said this was the site to be on, so hello.

2014 E350 also restored: 1969 Camaro convertible SS 1957 Chevy Belair 2dr hardtop
Should have put "when you receive vehicle" instead of assuming you would know that. Made no comment about your Lincoln or Harley since this is a Mercedes site. Did you need a comment about them? I did read your Post so you are welcome.

No worries. On other forums we do appreciate all cars though. If only lincoln would compete with something like the MB s550, I might not have gone with one. I'm looking forward to the comparison and upscale comfort. I have a feeling I'll be putting the others for sale.
edit; and thank you for the welcome.

Nomark, I'd be interested in seeing pics/specs of:
" 1996 Black on Light Graphite Lincoln Mark VIII LSC that has also been fully stripped, acid etched (vert too), coated, with a supercharged 4.6 dohc putting 405hp and 425ftlbs at the wheels through a 6 speed manual. Sounds very cool!!
