Hi my name is Penny.. born and raised in So California. 2 mos. Ago I was looking to buy a car and my neighbor decided to sell her MB 2003 E500 w211. She needed $ and sold to me for $2000.00.. Thought maybe I was going to get a good deal. Not thinking that way now. Has a battery drain and trying to locate it. I will post a pic

Thank you so much for that. I spoke with two different mechanics from 2 of the local dealers in this area. I was going to be taking it in for service this morning.. Actually a recall on the SBC system for the year and model. Since they do this according to individual VIN# , it turned out that mine had no open recalls.. I did get the chance to throw out a couple of questions and they both were very helpful 👍😊

Thank you so much. Just been doing some simple troubleshooting and process of elimination. Can't open trunk so it's a stumbling block but a few things have been eliminated. I did decide to check all the fuses in the two spots I have access to. The trunk remote fuse is in the trunk but under the hood I found two that were wrong and one was a 30 in cigarette lighter that should have only been 15. I did try to use it a few days ago to charge my phone and it showed as though it was charging but after 10 min. It sucked my juice in the phone from 19% to 3%. I took it out.. Curious to see if there's any changes. Thank you😊
