Hi. New here. I'm in central Florida and just picked up a "new" daily. Snagged a 2004 CLK55 vert with just 38k on the clock, new top, new tires and it's not completely sun-bleached as so often occurs here. As is with many cars in Florida it has an interesting tale of multiple owners in a very short period of time and extremely low miles. I think the Early Bird Special crowd just likes to have a nice car in the garage for the sake of having one.
I am a custom tuner for Shelby GT500s. My "company mascot" is a 2007 GT500 that makes a little over 1,000 rwhp. It's perfectly driveable but sort of a pain in the butt to have to turn it off so the person at the drive-through can hear me. Plus it's retired from racing and R&D use now so she gets to just chill in the garage in her proper, queenly place. Speaking of royalty, our new labradoodle puppy is why I chose a CLK over my first choices of a SL or SLK AMG. Need that puppy space in the back seat for now. I don't plan on this one being more than a year in the stable then I'll move on/up and likely to the 2 seater.
Anyway, glad to be here and looking forward to learning. Not my first M-B but the first I plan on doing my own maintenance on, so much to absorb.

We have one in the F150. Hooks on the headrests and works great. Trust me, every time a box shows up here she thinks it's for her (and generally is). We were in the front yard the other day and she went ballistic when the Fed Ex guy carried a Chewy box to the neighbor's house across the street. I think she recognized the logo (of course not giving her full credit that she may, in fact, be able to read).Originally Posted by mrmotoguzzi00
