I am brand new to the group and wanted to start off by saying hello, and Mercedes is the greatest car maker of all time. They have been ahead of the game since the very beginning! If you look back in History, Mercedes is technically the first company to create the "automobile" and everyone else has just been playing catch up ever since. My cars are a 2002 CLK55 AMG, it is bone stock. I got this car from my mother, after my father passed away last year, she was having trouble getting a fair offer for it, so I stepped in and bought it. That was enough to reignite my love for cars, especially German Cars. Driving it every day has been emotional, but in a good way, it keeps me feeling close to him and keeps his memory alive for me. It is Magma Red and has some nice wheels on it. This is my daily driver.
My other car is a 2006 SL600 also Magma Red with a stage 2 Kleeman Tune, ECU/TCU tune, HeavyDuty Intercooler pump, Catless, Muffler Delete, 20x12 and 20x10.5 Azad Black/Polished Wheels, I am currently looking for a set of downpipes. It is a nice quick car. It should be making around 670hp/815ftlbs to the flywheel. I am also a fan of other types of cars I have had over 50 cars in my life it would be difficult to touch on all of them but I have done American, Japanese, German, and everything in between, No real exotics ! AT LEAST NOT YET! I appreciate having a nice community to share with. If anyone knows anyone else selling some M275 parts, I am your guy, I have a friend with a stock SL600 also, it is Champagne but he wants to get it up with mine. So I need another tune for him and other bolt ons, his is stock. He is an older guy and not hip to the forums, I am trying to teach him.
Pictures of both cars coming soon, I want to take pictures of them together, which I have not gotten around to doing yet. I will show my buddy's SL too. THanks again everyone, I look forward to being a lasting member.
I promise I will do it this weekend, I have to clean them both up for their photo shoot! I might not be able to get photos of my buddy right away but the Magma red duo will definitely be up sometime Saturday, maybe Sunday if the weather doesn't agree. I am in Florida so fingers crossed, we will have at least some nice weather, long enough for me to wash them and take some shots. I am excited to get them posted together. To be honest, I haven't had either one of them very long. About 5 or 6 months for the CLK and only a couple weeks for the SL. This is why I do not ALREADY have some pictures posted. I promise, I will get them up ASAP!
Thank you. My friends tease me I have the only 2 red AMGs in the city, joking. I prefer blue but obviously not really an option. I appreciate all the kind words, it means a lot coming from the members here. The SL is an animal! It looks much better in person of course, I think this is true of every car.
