Hello all, my name is Randall Botha from South Africa. I own a 2007 W203 C200 which I've had since new. It has done 436300km with relatively few problems, still has original alternator, starter & water pump.
I also own W123 300D with approx 500000km on it. I have previously owned a '85 W123 230E and a' 89 W124 230E.

Hi, travelled to Botswana once with this car (I think), but a few times with the 300D and my wife's W202 (also had over 400000km), also to Mozambique. Fortunately my work involved many long distance trips all over South Africa, which contributrs to hiigh mileage with little ware.

Yes I followed the regular maintenance schedules. Serviced by franchised dealerwhile whike still under Motorplan up 120000km, after that did all my own maintenance, apart from A/T control unit & camshaft sprockets with timing chain at 320000km. Never missed a service. The amazing thing is it uses less oil now than when new.
