Hey all, about 11 months ago I bought a 2014 s550 and absolutely loved it. Unfortunately about 4 weeks ago a drunk driver hit me and the car was considered a loss by my insurance company. Well yesterday I flew out to Atlanta and picked up a 2015 s63 with 19k miles! Drove it back to Dallas where I reside and man, I freaking love this thing!
Some pics of the s550, was already making her my own! Also, I walked away from that crash with a bruised elbow. Very fortunate, these things are built like tanks!
Good to know you only had a bruised elbow. Safety is the number 1 reason why I drive a MB. The 3-pointed star on the hood still stood there, as if to testify that the car is a MB. If it were me, I would probably took it down and make a special trophy plaque for it.
It would be interesting if you had a pic of the other car too.

12-hour drive from Athens to Cedar Hill is taxing...easier in my 2015 Chevy SS but was like a magic carpet ride when I took delivery of 2021 AMG Wagon last May. Can only imagine how your S-Class motored down Interstate 20!
Not sure if will ever graduate to the S-Class and live out my Raymond Reddington Fantasy (The Blacklist) but will always admire and respect the IconSclass on the Road. Only will disrespect BMW and Audi on my Treks...lol

yeah the guy at the dealership that sold me the car said “man I couldn’t drive 10 hours straight back” and I said “well if I have to, what better car to do that in.” This thing is an autobahn monster, 850 miles averaging 23mpg is pretty impressive for being a big luxury sedan

Glad you weren't seriously hurt; S class is truly a living room on wheels. bet the amg is a hoot to drive. long hauls (8 hours +) in any car are taxing but so much less so in a e or s class.
