Hi All... Just got a GLC300
Hi Everyone! I used to drive a 2017 BMW 440xi drop top, but it needed a bunch of money to keep on the road so I traded it for a 2022 GLC300. So far it's a ton of fun, the thing practically drives itself. Now, I can haul stuff including my bicycle. Jury is still out on how much I like it, but it's just been a few days so fingers crossed!

Thanks everyone!
I loved the 440xi, especially the drop top. I bought it off lease in 2020 (it's a 2017) and also bought the extended warranty. It needed four tires, which is about $2,000. I also relocated from Rhode Island to South Carolina, and to move the registration I was going to need to pay an "infrastructure fee" of about $500. I decided with 69k miles, only 14 months left on warranty, and the expected reduction of value after another year of driving it I was better off replacing it now. Since I have owned it, there have been nearly $7,000 in three trips to the dealer, all covered by warranty, so it's not a car I can own without a warranty.
I did look at BMW 430i and 440i convertible models, but despite dealers having them on their web sites they don't actually have the cars. Also, I do a lot of sailing and I like to bicycle, so I need to be able to move stuff around. I looked at a Honda CR-V, but decided I wanted more engine. So I looked at the Honda Passport, and it was what I wanted. Dealers within 200 miles, however, are adding all kinds of junk to the car, and outright adding "market adjustment" fees, so for the same money I got this GLC300 since the dealer here made a reasonable deal with me. Not as good as pre-Covid days of coure, but for now, paying sticker for a car seems like a good deal. My ex wife was kept in C Class cars (by me of course) and we had pretty good luck with those.
All that said, I have a deposit on a 440xi that will arrive in September. If I decide to take that car this one will go to my Mom, who really needs these self driving safety features. She recently got a Mazda which is a nice car, but the self driving stuff is not nearly as good as this GLC300.
In the meantime I'm having fun with this little SUV. I'm starting to like it more than expected!

Congrats. We love ours. Look into Stealth Hitches for a really nice hidden trailer hitch. You can put a bike rack into the hitch receiver.
