I recently bought my dream car, a single-owner 2019 S560 4Matic (w222) Certified from Mercedes Benz of Lancaster, PA in Black Ruby Red Metallic color with full dealer maintenance and service history.
Few questions for the group:
Does anyone in DC/MD/VA have recommendations for shops that do PPF? (I plan on doing only hood and bumper to protect the car's paint from rock chips, scratches and debris on highways).
I was surprised to find out that car came with no spare wheel. Any recommendations on the rim size for a spare wheel. I plan to buy small donut type wheel to avoid driving on my run-flat tires in case of a flat.

Welcome. Bought my cpo e450 at Lancaster several months ago. Easy transaction. I am in Maryland and use euromotors as local dealer. Can't help with ppf, I applied ceramic coating myself. Easy to do and renew. Modern Spare for donut. They do not list any S models but if you call they may be able to help. I replaced the runflats with non runflats and ride is better. Congrats on your dream ride. As for PPF, ask the detail shop (dealer) crew pretty sure they have a few prep folks that will help you out. I usually ride past the shop and catch one prepping a car, they have no probs at all. Again, congrats

Interesting, I also live in Maryland and took my car to Euro Motors in Bethesda, Maryland for service last month.
How was your experience with ceramic coating? Also, would you mind sharing which product and tools you had to buy to complete your DIY job.

Thanks for your response. I already called dealer (Mercedes-Benz of Lancaster, PA) they told me that they outsource PPF jobs to outside vendors. They also gave me a reference for a shop close to their dealership in PA, but unfortunately that's a 4 hour drive from where I live (Maryland). Also, I am currently exploring ceramic coating option as well.
