Saying Hi + My Wald Bison S600 Build *Pics Inside*
Hey everyone, I posted this on the AMG S-class section but it seems to be more active here so I wanted to introduce myself and show everyone what I've been working on!
New member here but been a stalker for quite some time. Never really fully "joined" a forum before but figured I'd try it out and help out fellow members who may have questions and I may be able to help with! Thought maybe this would be a good way to keep my family from going crazy from hearing me talk about cars and give them some relief. Here's some pictures of my S600 (photos were not taken by me). I swear the car has been the shop longer than it has been on the actual road, but all in all it was worth the wait. I look forward to meeting you all and feel free to ask any questions you may have, I'll do my best to answer!
Mods List: Wald Bison Body Kit, ADV.1 custom wheels, ClearGuard Nano clear bra wrap (entire car)

Appreciate the compliments!
-The ADV.1 wheels finish is called stainless aluminum, a a lot shinier and gives it a more luxurious look than brushed aluminum.
-Clearbra wrap is called clear guard nano it was done by a performance studio where I live (Houston). I tried several brands including Xpel ultimate, Suntek, and 3M and clear guard nano is definitely the best as far as clarity and texture by far...don't ever use 3M if you can help it!
-Roof isn't wrapped.
PM me if you want more information on anything, in case I don't see it here. Really glad you guys are enjoying the pictures!

Nothing that I can add to what others have already said. Simply awesome!
Do you mind sharing the cost of each major component. Am very interested in how much the wheel were as I was looking for something similar in design. Also would like to know how much you paid for the full wrap. My cost for a full XPEL wrap was slightly above 8K.

Why would you wrap the entire car? Was it for a color change or enhancement, or???

I'm really happy you guys are enjoying the pictures. The reason I wrapped the S600 is because the clear bra protects the paint from rock chips, swirl marks, and light scratches...no matter what color your car is, it's frustrating to see those on your baby! Some of my buddies have it on their stock cars because they said it helped them with resale value since the paint is kept in better condition...
All in all, please don't get just whatever brand of clear bra and don't cheap out on it if you can help it. like I've said, I've tried a handful of brands (I like to experiment!) and it pays to do it right--otherwise you're only wasting time, money, and the possibility of actually ruining your car paint in the process.

I have Xpel on my 2015 full wrap. It is worth it if one owns the car ( I tend to keep the cars for 7 years when the warranty is over. 7 year itch) as it keeps the car clean of chips etc. I had venture shield on my 2008 and boy did it protect the car from dings, chips till I traded in for the 2015. 3M I heard turns yellow n time.
Congratulations Bison600, your ride looks fantastic

With technology improving at a feverish pace, it's all I can do to keep a car until the end of a 3 year lease these days. In most cases, with "early out" incentives, I usually end up with a new car every 30 months or so. Clear bra? To keep my "loaner" perfect for the next guy? I don't think so.

The MB dealers use the "credit card" rule. If the damage can be covered by a credit card, they don't care. Now, IF you are turning in your S Class and sliding into another, new MB, preferably another S Class, your old car could look like it has been at the bottom of the Pacific Ocean for a few years and they will NOT ding you whatsoever. They are like drug pushers, always trying to keep you addicted to their brand. "Sign here," and no problem.
