TUNING CHIPS ....combine all info here
everyone is asking about TUNING CHIPS!
oberklasse, UPSOLUTE, Wetterauer, and this company http://www.hs-elektronik.com/datenbl...s-c32-amg.html
everyone has a little piece of info on whats what for which car etc.
there is alot of confusion so lets make this one nice big tuning chip thread.
i want a chip under $500 that adds around 30hp + removes top speed limiter even though i hit 160 the other day. i run 13.2's at the track with stock tires. and im just dreading to hit the high 12's so i can say i have a 12 sec car

I would TRY the UPSOLUTE PROGRAM...I GAINED 30 HP at the rear wheels on a DYNO (EVO SPORTS DYNO )and its UNDER your 500.00 limit so what more could you ask for ?well........
as the CCoupe is a LOT faster NOW JUST MY .02

but the reason i don't think UPSOLUTE has something for my car is because i met up with the UPSOLUTE distributor last night! and raced around with him an dhe never mentioned anything about a chip for my car (C32)....and there closed today..but what you have done is badass thats exactly what i want...did they reprogram what you have? or added stuff? and can you reset it back to factory defaults?

I would Talk to Lanny,in CHINO HILLS, CAL cause upsolute did not have a program for my c coupe BUT THEY MADE ONE FOR ME .FIRST THEY REMOVE THE M E CONTROL UNIT...Then read it and save the file ....Then remap and reinstall and WA LA ........
MORE POWER and yes you can reprogram to stock if needed
Why? cause there is no way to tell anyone has been a playn with the M E control unit
I can tell you this cause Im a ex factory mb tech .......... UPSOLUTE WORKS

Just to let you know, Oberklasse is not a chip tuning manufacturer. They are a full aftermarket tuner in Texas that uses MKB parts. They did reprogram my ECU as part of my tuning program, however, I don't think they offer straight chip tuning.

Check out www.mkb-power.de. I had their 55 Hypertune kit installed by Oberklasse and they reprogrammed my ECU.

Not sure... I was running 490 hp and 460 lb/ft torque with the Hypertune kit and a Kleemann SC (and a4.3 liter engine)but that was before the current round of upgrades. I also had a higher differential. After this round my car will definitely be put thorugh the ringer so I'll post all performance numbers when testing is done.

Nice car Sleestak, I was curious as to wether or not you ever rear wheel dynoed your vehicle, or have you ever taken it to a drag strip to see what kind of times you would post?
