They have donesome nice work with turbo Porsches. They will tune your car on their load bearing eddy current chassis dyno. This allows a much greater degree of accuracy and driving condition emulation than just a WOT run on an inertia dyno. Knowledgeable people and a nice satisfaction guarantee.

At least in my area, the problem with the dealer that are listed for Unichip, only 1 that still does Unichip programming. For some odd reason, alot of their dealer have dropped support for unichip programming.

dont get some other program that only fools your ECU, RENNtech actually goes in and remaps it!!!

If you are looking for a Vmax delimiter, make sure it only does that. I have not seen any company offer performance software for a Kleemann Kompressor, and I definitely would not trust any rivals with it. Let's talk privately about this later....

I do have many concerns about modifying my ECU. Having done this in the past I can tell you it is a PAIN IN THE A%%, when you have a problem that requires the dealer to adjust your ECU.

Tim, you just had your car kleemanized by evosport, I don't think there is anybody better out there to do what you are asking for.,
unless of course if you go to their competitors like Reentech.

I'm sure they could have. But I wanted to try the car in the normal configuration before I step up to the next level.
When modifing a vehicles ECU many problems can arise.
I was looking for real world information from people that may have had it done and if there were any problems if they had to have there car worked on by the dealer.

I have heard the ECU mods are basically undetectable by MB dealers, presenting no service issues.

More power you ask?
I can't use what I have, yet!
Having the car speed limited to 158 mph, leaves me with about
55 mph of unusable speed.
I like to run in the open road races and 158 mph won't cut it.
I can't let some stock ZO6 pass me by at 165 mph (figuratively speaking)
I just want to optimize what I have.
A friend of mine just had his Z06 dyno’d, 350HP 348LBS torque.
After seeing my dyno sheets he doesn’t want to race me anymore!

The truth is, no one, not even RENNtech has broken the Mercedes ME 2.8 fuel mapping codes.
RENNtech does offer ECU upgrades, but what they do is remap using sofware from the factory in Germany. They email the source back and forth to get it right. (And By the way, they do perform a good service with this. I have installed MANY upgraded ECU's with HUGE results)
I am not slamming anyone. I am just stating fact. Mercedes engineers have padded the pocket for years this way. Why would they stop doing so by leaking the information???
Anyone with programing/hacking skills should contact me if they are interested in helping to go through 1,000,000.++ lines of code to help crack it.

I haven't modified my ECU.
But it's nice to know that there are people on this forum that like to point fingers and offer information to Government officals.
I think it's time to re-think the value of sharing information.
