Input on Mosselman Turbo kits for Benz
Hey guys, I'm thinking about getting a Mossel man twin turbo kit for my W140 S320. has anyone had any experience with them? if so how was your turbo/SC kit? are they low or high quality? It seems like turbo kit might be easier than v8/v12 transplant and its much better gas mileage too.
Does anyone know how much it costs for S320? Thanks for your help. any input about their products is appreciated.

How much are you looking to spend? I'm not very familiar with the W140 and its engine. If it is a V-6, I've heard very good things about the Kleemann 3.2L Kompressor. I believe it could be installed for around $10K. I'm just getting into MB tuning though so I'm not positive. I'm sure Sleestack or Kleemann or one of the many others on the board could correct me if I'm wrong.

well I own my own performance comany so I could become a distributor thereby getting better prices and forwarding those better prices to you guys on the forum. they are $6900 for M104, but i already bargained down to about $6500 without even trying and thats without distributorship. wholesale pricing for the kit is probably around $5000-5500, maybe less. IF there is enough demand (for ANY mosselman kits, not just S320 104 motor) I will do it, but i would need a show of hands.

Hey Homey,
Anything for the 500 engine in the w140? If there is a TT kit or something, I could produce an exhaust and market that under my business. Email me if you wanna talk about that type of stuff.

All the mosselman kits are for the smaller displacement motors.
They 4cyl benz motors get single turbo, the 6 cyl get twin turbos. no TT for V8/V12, however I do believe they have a Supercharger kit that is not very expensive and it works on the 500 i beleive. I will have to check. The 320 motor with TT will be just as powerful as S500 motor and thats with no other mods, so for me its a much more logical route, and it all can be uninstalled DIY in just one day . hope that helps

www.mosselmanturbo.com is the site that has all the information. 4cyl kits cost about $4500 i believe, 6cyl kits are $6800 retail. I know for sure the 6cyl kit comes WITH intercooler, not sure about 4 cyl but most probably. I think that is actually a very good deal considering intercoolers are quite expensive.
on the 500 motors they only have SC for W126 500's.
