Evosport Ignition Set
You have to be joking. It would be great if getting reliable 400 rwhp out of an MB that starts with about 275 at the crank was that easy.
If I read correctly you have some higher differential gearing that was or is still in your CLK. If you are not running them I would like to talk to you about them and any other HP stuff good for a normally asperated engine.
Jeff
Yeah, but the difference between 400 RWHP and 275 hp at the crank is about 175 hp, an increase of almost 80%.
And with that...I'm done with this thread.
To bring this BACK ON TOPIC, C klass 320, you won't feel a noticeable difference from ignition wires unless you had a malfunctioning wire, in which case you'd feel the same difference from an OEM replacement. The only place you'll ever see the improvement, if any at all, is on a dyno.
I know what Vortech can do and I know you can achieve it. So keep pushing it and do not take it as adversirial. When I first started playing with Vortech, almost 10 years ago, I had people who were egging me on, they pushed me further and further.
Just think of me as one of those people.
Josh, dude, it's "Rear Wheel Horse Power"
And just one more comment about peeps vs. people and all other sociological terms specific to a demographic. You're not right if you insist the people in your demographic are right.
Nice to visit mbworld again
Josh - make note. There are some forum members who don't "get" metaphors and/or clever analogies. Make sure to include literal translations in all your posts to avoid future confusion.

i really dont care about results on a dyno just improving et's
the only real way of proving this is to actually do a 1/4 mile run without the evo ignition set then with them in the same day with relative same temp and humidity...
do we all agree..
my car is probably the best car to do it with since there will be no driver error or traction problem do to 4 wheel drive... i would launch the car in drive and we will see the difference of the 2 ... problem would need someone to install them at the track in english town...
If you're going to do any meaningful testing, understand you have to do a minimum of 3 tests with each set-up.
Furthermore, as stated in earlier post, if your current ignition system is operating 100 %, you will not see any improvement with any jazzed-up pieces.
