Need Suggestion on running hose for Viper Piper Cross in 98 E-430
I am on order with upsolute for a viper pipercross 'kit'. It's a universal kit, so there isn't any instruction on where to route the hose that supposed to get clean, cooled air from up front.
My question, anyone else using this kit on their E class. If so, I need some suggestion where to route this hose to get the clean, cool air.
PLEASE ADVICE!!

The other one I was looking at was the Roar Inc...any comments on that?

We looked at Roar awhile back. The CF boxes are real nice, but the guy who runs the company is very strange. You can only send him an e-mail. There is no address or phone number.
One time when I did got a hold of him, he came down to our shop and we did some testing on a Cobra Mustang. It made power close to what open K&N did, which was about 11 HP better than factory air box. I wanted to buy some of them, but he disappeered, never returning e-mails. That was 8 month ago.
So, we are going to make our own universal hiflow airbox that can be used on many applications. I will have more info and possible pictures shortly.

Funny how you you mentioned that. I tried emailing the people at Roar, and no one email backs. When will the evosport version be available? I'm kind of in a time crunch here....that is why I'm looking for something now

There isn't anything really wrong with it. It's just I have only now till Oct to get my car done before the big show. And I just feel like I'm getting less and less time
Just call me crazy.

Even for a 98 E430? I have been told that your pulley will be half the price of Kleemann's? I hope so..
Also, I was told by another forum member you have a port&polish from intake manifold for $500? Is that true? is this using extrude hone technic or good old fashion rotary style port&polish?

As far as I know Kleemann does not make UD pulleys set. You are thinking about Kompressor cars. I do not have complete pricing yet on MB pulleys.
As far as manifold modification, it is more than port and polish. We basically retune it for more top end. On a stock car it is worth about 12HP, more with cams and headers.
