Transmission Update done right FINALLY
i actually have that weird 1800 upshifting problem.
for example... the command system makes this buzzing sound you can hear if you put your ear next to it with the mute button on.
i can hear it when i'm playing music so it drives me nuts.
everyone else says they can't hear it when the music plays, only when you put your ear next to it and listen.
and when you turn the power off, the buzzing goes away.

When I had transmission "roughness" it'd occured in either C/S mode, either upshift/downshif between 2nd-to-3rd gears, at 20 - 30 mph. I took the car to the dealers (3 trips, 2 different dealers) and got the transmission software updates and/or re-adaptations. I noticed one thing, though, after the service update the gears changing can get a little rough but should go away and completely gone after you driven 500 miles or so. This is according to the latest update that I had when the car had 1,800 miles. By the time my car got to 2,300 - 2,500 miles, all the roughness were gone. Now my car has over 7,000 miles and the transmission is smooth as "silk" in either S or C modes. From the last software update that I had, a very good Service Tech explained to me that the car needs few hundred miles following the adapatation to learn and adapt itself to the driver/owner driving style and initial roughness is normal but should be gone/cure after a few hundred miles.
So if your car transmission is "rough" or "jerky", take it to the dealer or dealers and get it fixed while still covered under warranty. Why wait or limit yourself to only C or S mode?
Hope this helps.
