anyone debadge their R?
Doesn't seem such an issue in the USA plus what's the matter with a 4Matic badge?

but i still think i would take the badges off anything but an AMG just bc i like how clean it looks. its all personal preference and i just prefer having it look clean and different from 97% of the other C230's driving around with factory badges.
you know what kind of car you have, why does everyone else need to know too?

I cringe when I remember all the goofy advertising manufacturers put on cars. I remember big "Twin Cam" stickers on the rocker panels of some cars in the 80's or 90's. I still see old cars with "5 Speed" on the trunk lid. Subaru is currently the worst with badging "PZEV" on the trunks amongst a bunch of other clutter. Stabilitrac, Instatrac, Real Time, etc... who really cares what type of AWD system my SUV has? 99.9% of the people tailgating me have no idea what any of it means anyway. I'm "into" cars and have no idea either.
My old C-class had "Kompressor" on the hatch which lasted exactly one day after taking delivery. It ran almost 1/3 of the way across the back of the car. No thanks.
Surprise that the rest of the letterings don't have pins.

And some off topic. I'm actually looking for R500 and owner of one said it's 2WD and thus having better MPG. I was
because I thought all of R's are 4matic always (why to create that great car and then just put 2WD on it...). This particular car has that option listed, so now I'm wondering is it really 2WD or does this option just mean the badge has been eliminated. I checked under the car and I can see both front and rear drive shafts so I thought definitely it's AWD.If there is 2WD available how can I really say if the car is 2WD or AWD (as for that one car owner said it's 2WD but underneath the car I can see all 4 drive shafts)?
