I am working with a used car dealer for 2007 R350 P2 Pkg with 22K miles.
The dealer is ready to work for $29K+taxes but I am confused. The carfax report only has 3 entries - 1. First time the car was registered (commercial lease). 2. Vehicle was offered at an auction. 3. MB does not have any recalls.
The car looks very good.
Please give your thoughts on this deal.
Thank you.

I am concerned about the carfax report for this car. It has only 3 records as mentioned in the original post. Please comment if that is OK or not. Also please comment if good deal or not.

should be fine...so long as there's no accident history it should be fine...what state is the car from?
Thank you for your response. This vehicle is from New Jersey.

don't be so trusting of carfax. any car could have gotten into an accident and repairs could have been done without insurance therefore it would never show up on carfax.Originally Posted by Blk04cobra1

and even if there is an accident reported and having repairs done through a bodyshop doesn't mean it will show up. case in point, my 2008 lexus is250 was in a major accident with $19,000 in damages.
carfax shows the car to be clean with no accidents until this day.

$29K for 2007 with P2 seems reasonable "low" end price. I saw one about 2 months ago for 32K CPO.
If you buy it from reputable MB dealer and it's a CPO, I wouldn't worry about it.
Is it a good deal? It seems good deal to me. Make sure it's really P2 package.

Seems ok if it is CPO, and P2, and has a clean carfax. However, does the car have parktronic? If not, it should have a back up camera. I am not sure if in the 07 model that the parktronic and back up camera was part of the P2 package. If it doesn't have the parktronic or back up camera, I would consider taking them down another two thousand.

Deal sounds about right. I just bought a 07 R350 CPO Obsidian with P2, Ipod interface, exterior pkg, heated seats, voice guided for the same price.
Sorry achu717 for responding late. It is in south florida @ http://www.ckautos.com
When I saw it today, it says sale pending. I finally bought a R350 2007 P1 for $23.5K with 36K miles and love it.

Funny, i was looking at this car on ebay too. I didn't jump on it b/c it wasn't CPO. It sold for $29.5Originally Posted by carconfused

07 does have parktronic and back up camera as package/options. To us, Parking sensor is a MUST for this car.
