switch broken open all overhead control panel and tried manually no way to many cables:S any diagram to operate manually? and why mercedes do not put something emergency easy close .. sucks

This şis ridicules let say you are some where far to dealer and can not close your roof any small problem they want you go dealer no way :S:S its really sucks

Calm down and just read your manual... it is there for your use.
There is a procedure listed in there (pg 462 on my manual) using one of your tools in your trunk. You don't have to go to the dealer to do that.

My 06 R500 manual (the cover states R - class manual R350 - R500) has the following on page 462.
I am pretty sure that's the procedure you need.
Now that I see the page again, it is misleading... It makes the reader think that only Keyless-Go users can have this procedure. I think the Keyless-go is for the first bullet only. Mine has the Keyless-Go, but I can't imagine the manual roof closing being only available with keyless-go. The two are totally independent.

After reading your posts and looking around the net I stand corrected. It seems the panoramic roof does not have a manual crank option. This is news to me.
