Anyone tried these Nokian Z SUV tyres?
My R320cdi-L is has about 30K kms on the GT Radial HPY and they have been great apart from the wear. They are quiet, seem economical and have plenty of tread in the centre but like most SUVs the shoulders are worn.
I am thinking about these Nokian Z SUV tyres. Some sites list this as NOKIAN HAKKA Z SUV
Im based in Sydney Australia, so we dont need Summer and Winter tyres thankfully.
What do you think? they did quite well in the tyre tests.

Sorry about the large images, (PM me if you know how i can reduce the size)

My other options are Continental CrossContactUHP or the others listed here.

Appreciate all feedback.
Thanks
A repaired punture near the sidewall kept bleeding air from about 40psi to 25psi in 2 days.
How much tread do you have left and how many miles (or Kms) have you done in them?
And if the tire wears faster, then you end up wasting your fuel savings on new tires sooner

I agree with efzauner, the tires are large and have a pretty big contact patch so probably no tire is going to give you drastically better fuel economy. Best to go with a tire that provides average fuel economy but above average comfort and tread life.
In a few weeks i'll be taking it on a 3000Km round trip drive, fully laiden with roof box and all.
I also got a wheel alignment so hopefully I see 50000+ kms out of this set.

Overall I found these tyres provided great grip, quiet and confident in the wet.
Apart from that I just discovered that one of the tyres is separating from the carcass. Not a good sign given the centres still have 5mm on them.
Since the shoulders have scrubbed out, and this model has been discontinued, I am looking at Michelin Latitude Tour HP or Continental Cross Contact 5.
Are everyone else's W251 scrubbing out the shoulders? I have a wheel alignment annually, and rotation every 6 months.
