Anyone ever remove the 2nd row centre console/middle seat?
So I went to see a 2010 r350 today and I am curious to see if this can be done. My wife current drives a Honda minivan and the best feature for us is that my daughter can walk through the second row to sit in the rear. I cannot find any rclass with the second row captains seat so my only option would be to remove the centre seat. Anyone try this and do you have any pictures.
Thanks

You will have not so nice holes in the carpet with sticking up bolts, which I think will not be SAFE to travel with kids. Of course you can cut them down and put some sort of cover over the carpet holes. I have only pictures with all seats removed. Hope it helps.

The console just unclips
and can be lifted out. The plastic mount remains in the car and is basically flat, we sometimes leave ours out so that its easier to move to the back seats or transport large items.

Well I just purchase a 2012 R350 with 59,000 kms! Should be here by the end of the week, then I going to remove the centre seat and see how it works for my daughter. Purchase at the MB auction, only thing that worries me is the check engine light is on, hopefully its not too big of a deal...we shall see.

Got the r350 today, so far I love it. Removed the 2nd row centre seat and my daughter can walk right to the back. Check engine was the bluetec heater, replaced it, all good. Can't wait to take this beast on a road trip.

Can you detail on how you removed it, etc? Does it look nice? Functional? Thanks!
