MP3 Player 2007 500 R

Is there a way to hook up an MP3 player via an Aux? My model a 2007 has the center entertainment area, so there is no Aux jack in the glove compartment. Is there some place else I should be looking
thanks

Anthony

you mean you have the rear entertainment system? If so, correct you dont have an aux jack. But you do have auxiliarry R+L +Video inputs on the DVD Player in the armrest. You can connect that way.

I don't believe the sound from the MP3 player can be heard in the car with that type of hook up other than the passengers with headphones.

Did you try it???? you have to turn one of the rear displays on, and select aux 1 or aux 2. I set in on the passenger display so I could easily reach back and turn it on from the drivers seat.

next getting the cigarette lighter socket and the rear power socket to go on. I did change the fuse(s) but nothing.
The center power socket does work, thankfully

That is odd... did you check the fuses again? they are easy to blow with a short adaptor that allows the ground to short to a positive connection on the side of socket...
