R-63 AMG - PRODUCTION NUMBERS
Only 44 were imported but there was a reason for that. No one wanted most of the 44 that came in.
I would be one of the people waiting for one to hit the auctions again. Then I will pounce on it and have what I think is a pretty fun car!

There are 180-something worldwide and I believe 48 are in the US from what I recall.
I had to replace a r63 engine under warranty (dropped valve) destroyed block, i know there is only 1 r 63 in birmingham, al and its owned by a well known local person
Auction just ended but these were the info/numbers:
2007
87,872 miles
11 Bids $30,218.00
Just quick question, why would anyone pick an R63 over the ML63?
P.S. There were two built for the US in Barollo Red, both over Black Napa Leather... just fyi.

Another 2 were also sold down to the USA in the past few years.
Assuming no further R63s were purchased from the USA to Canada after these initial 5 new orders, there are only TWO or THREE left in Canada.
I know of one Black R63 with 45,000km that was recently sold from Vancouver to Calgary. I had considered buying this one as well but it sold before I could go down to see it.
I recently purchased the other R63 left in Canada (Iridium Silver on Black) back in February of this year with only 15,000km.

rbtmak, are you sure there was a third that left CAN for USA?
There's few enough of these vehicles, that it isn't entirely insane to try to keep track of them... only partially insane.

I heard that a silver one was exported out but apparently, it's still here. I know of another silver one that is for sale in Alberta. Was on Rallyautoauctions just a week or so ago.

It also appears that the "Unicorn of my Destruction" is now in Canada. It looks like it was moved up there earlier this year. https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/fo...10824/page126/
Do you know anything more about the silver one that you thought was exported but wasn't? It wasn't this one from BaT, was it? https://bringatrailer.com/listing/20...s-benz-r63-30/
BUT, I believe it was a salvage title and it needed at least $30,000 of work - excessive rust, airmatic failure, engine codes etc etc.
It was in terrible shape, the interior was all modified with weird leather.
I think it came up from the USA at one point, as the seller back then told me it was owned by an athlete and the car was bought for his wife. It was purchased by someone locally here in Vancouver last year, and is now up for sale on Facebook:

The silver one on Bat is from Ontario so not local to me.
Looks like Mercedes Sales guy was incorrect stating only 5-6 R63 were ever sold in Canada. I think that number is closer to 10-15.
