Looking for compatible floor-style trunk cargo net
Picked up a used 2015 S550 coupe yesterday. Glad to be back amongst the uber-coupe owners (I’ve owned 3 CLs, but not since 2007). I like the new luxury and driver assistance features. I can’t drive without cameras anymore!
Anyway, my old Mercedes trunk cargo net won’t work with the unusual tie-down clips in the 4 corners of the C217 trunk. Mercedes doesn't seem to offer a cargo net for our trunk. Anyone find one that works? I like the floor nets to hold things down in the trunk, but most are designed for some kind of hoop/ring tie-down and not the hook-like ones we have.
Did you ever find a compatible net for the S Coupe?
I have a 2019 S coupe and I am also interested in the OEM cargo net.
I actually just noticed tonight while I was vacuuming the trunk carpeting that it has the four hooks for a cargo net.
I’ve searched part # a2228680074 everywhere and the Mercedes parts systems do show it as a cargo net for the C217 but discontinued as a previous contributor stated. Ebay doesn’t have anything at this time.
No longer available from MB direct or for that matter even AliExpress.
Yup I know. Bummer. Why would MB stop making these? I know it's not an essential part but still -- Mercedes did manufacture a model year 2021 S-class 2-door -- thats a very recent vehicle.
I just wonder if a large dealer in the US might have one or two of these lying around on the shelf somewhere.

Have not ordered from mercteil but I know a few people who have used that website and they are very reputable.
