Rotating Tires on our Coupes and Cabriolets

He stated "It won't lengthen the wear patterns so they don't rotate staggered size tires".
Is this true? Does anyone rotate their staggered size tires right to left and left to right?
I have Michelin Pilot Sport tires on my coupe and cabriolet.
Your thoughts.
Thanks in advance.
Ron
It sounds like you got rid of your run flats. If so, how's the difference in ride?

As for the Michelin Pilot Sports they give a fantastic ride. All the hard bumps felt with the run-flats are now gone.
Just a very smooth ride and a lot less road noise.
That was my complaint, among others, was that even the smallest bump was felt as a jarring jolt with the run-flats.
Thanks for your response.

So that would indicate to NOT rotate staggered wheels.
Do you have another source/reference for your opinion?
I am not being argumentative but want something to present to my Service Manager.
Thanks

Interesting that the 3's have a 45k mile warranty and the other 2 have just 30k and are a $100 or so more per tire. (Costco prices)

Bottom line MB does not require rotation. If non-directional dealer discrepancy as to rotating side to side.
