I did the installation this week. Not too difficult, but you need to be very cautious because of the wire modifications. The wire to CAN B bus is THIN as the hair.
you happen to take any pics of the install? Didn’t you have to tap into the fuse block also? Tail light connectors need modification? Anything special about tail light removal? Thanks

No I did not take photos during the process. Yes, you need to tap into the fuse block for two wires. One is plug-and-play, while the other requires crimping a connector from scratch. The connectors on the tailight are very easy to modify; basically, just pull out the old terminals and insert it into the new connector. You do need to tap into the ground wire tho.
Tailight removal was nothing special, very straightforward, 3x10mm bolt for outer light, 1x10mm bolt for the inner one.
The difficult part was the wire modification on the rear SAM module.
