Well, my battery finally died! RIP
My battery hasn’t given me a minutes trouble, until today. 10 years and 20 days, Varta makes a damn good battery. Here’s to the next 10!!

Looks like the season of dead batteries for the S-coupe. Mine just died today. In the market for a replacement. Did you get an aftermarket or OEM battery? What did the dealership charge for the battery and labor?

My Aux Battery is malfunctioning on my '16 S-Coupe. Is this the battery you're referring to?

Sorry to hear about that but 10 years is a great lifespan for a battery and testimony to Mercedes-Benz vehicles' battery friendliness as well .(Even over 5 years is not that bad at all to me )

my aux battery malfuction light just went on too. easy fix. i went to advance auto parts and got the Die hard gold tx14 about $130, its like a motorcycle battery. dealer wanted $220.
battery is in trunk passanger side rear . took me 30 mins.

Your work results makes your hourly labor rate worth $180.00 per hour. That is great work if you can find it.

Why is there such a STRONG warning for lay people to not change the battery in this car and to use the dealership?
Isnt the venting part universal?
