560 SEC AMG Sledgehammer links?
Anybody have any links to any info or pictures to this 6.0 monster? How much power did these things have again? Was it 440HP?
A guy is trying to tell me that 80's Mercedes are slow, I told him there are ones that would put a huritng on his LS1 Camaro.

I know exactly what you are talking about...and am hoping someone can throw some pics up. I am thinking a few years back someone did and I think it was black, but I was unable to find it

As to an english translation, try babelfish. This is one of the best sites I've found for historical information. mbcoupes.com has some too, but nowhere near as comprehensive.
Try Googling for any other sites. Let us know if you find some.

Depending on what you read, hp is between 375 and 385hp with torque being 407 to 417lb/ft for the 6.0 DOHC AMG motor found in late 1985-1991 W126 and W124 cars. Traction is very tricky with "only" limited-slip differentials and no fancy electronic traction control found in newer cars.

My fav is the 560SEC DTM.
AMG only made 1, been sitting in a MB warehouse for the past 14 or so years. (surrounded by other amazing cars!) The rules were changed right before it was to run, so it never did.
The specs are pretty cool, it probably would have been fast. Also AMG made it to light so they kept the power windows and wood.
