1990 500SL / 1989 560 SEC
Value of my 560 SEC Euro???
I bought the car DIRT cheap what is the actual value, I'm not sure???
I've seen 560's go for $5G's - $20G's and these are regular US models. I've alos seen a 560SL go for $35G's with similar mileage to mine. There's another guy in the states asking $45G's US for his AMG 560 Euro.
What price should I ask for the car???
1986 560 SEC AMG Body Euro
Pearl White and in GREAT condition.
No scratches or dents on body.
157000 KM's.
i'm thinking somewhere around $30000 CDN or am I insane??

As for not selling it, probably not going to, but if someone is willing to pay me a satisfieble amount of $$$, why not.
It's a regular 560 Euro motor.

I saw an '87 Euro 560 SEC in perfect shape with the 18" AMG monoblocks with an asking price of $7,000 and it sat for a while before it sold. I think if you find the right person you could get $10,000 US.

I think your car is worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Don't youlove the ambiguity of that statement!
I think $10k USD is a good albeit high ball park considering that it has no motor mods. Basically condition is everything on a car that is 18 years old. My car is 14 years old and has 260,000 miles, but no one believes me until they look at the odo. As long as it's clean, who knows what someone would reasonably pay.

I got the car dirt cheap no doubt, but I don't think Iwould let it go for under $20. IS the pricing any different between the Euro models and the U.S versions??? I think the Euro models would be worht more because they are more rare??? Dont you guys think?

Actually, here in California the Euros are worth less because of registration and emissions problems. Euros are not really ever worth more than US models at this point, condition is more important.
You want $20k CDN? what is that like $15k USD. You pretty much will not be able to get that for it, sadly.

you should be able to get 12k US
if it is in immaculate condition...
i just sold my 420 sel for 10k
with 117k(miles) on the odometer
but its had AMG rims and it was in perfect condition
