PARTING OUT 84 euro 500 SEC

A short intro (I promise)!

I have a 85 500 SEC that has a light hit in the front that I am sending in to get fixed. But before I could do this, I needed to secure the parts to fix it.

So just by luck I ran across an 84 euro 500 SEC with the needed parts. The car is in fair condition (except interior leather) show low miles and runs good.

Front and rear bumpers
Rear glass

I have no personal attachment to this parts car, nor am I looking to make a living at selling parts. I just thought I would offer them here first to help support a community that has helped to keep these cars going and it's owner out of the poor house.

So the question is: Anyone here want to buy any 84 euro 500 SEC parts before I strip it and put them on EBAY.

P.S. Before I bought this parts car, I had already bought a nice used front bumper off a 85 500 SEC (US spec) that is now for sale. I paid 300.00 usd, I will let it go for 250.00usd + shipping.

I will be going over the the shop late this afternoon/tonight and will try to get some pictures.

The wood and leather is shot in this car (as far as I remember). The past owner (PO) Left it at a car repair shop to have the window fixed. The window was left half way down for about 3 months. Needless to say the humidity and rain did a number on it

Humidity is not a freind to this kind of electrical items. I can and will test anything and everything like switches controllers etc. before I sell any of it.

Any switch that test good I will sell super cheap, just so I don't have to store them.

A/C Controller will go for core charge at most.

I don't want to store a ton or car parts I will have not need for, so everything is going one way or the other!

Sorry for not getting any pics up yet, but I have been tied up late at work (Holliday catch-up) and it's been dark and cold by the time I get home.

I am taking notes of what parts everyone has asked for and will be dedicating my efforts this saturday to the parts car.

Thank you for your understanding.

Not forgotten

Well it's been a busy new year (new job); however I have not forgotten about you guys.

I finely received my 85 SEC from the paint shop the other day and am working on getting it legal. I decided to use the US spec bumper for the front so both of the Euro bumpers are on the market.

As soon as the weather gets better (cold and cloudy) I will get some pics of the old dog.

Status of the 1984 Euro Parts Car.

Engine (sold as a long block only, no assy.)
Exhaust manifolds (euro)
Transmission
Differential
Drive shafts
Front and rear suspension
Doors
Fenders
Front bumper (euro)
Rear bumper (euro)
Trunk lid

Items not on the board for sale.

Interior (water damage)
Fuel distributor (shoot)
