i just spotted a white 1999 s420 with only 57k .......on sale in my area in a dealership....

Not Bad 95 With 80kmi ...........price Will Probably Go Up To 15k Versus Mine White 99 S420 With Only 57kmi.......i Can Also Purchase The Extend Warranty Up To 100kmi Or 3 Years For Around 2k

I guess we look at it differently. The S420 cost ~$78K new. The S600 cost ~$137K new. That is alot of car for ~$15-17K

Leloz, that sun screen in the white S600, is that a common feture? Any Idea how hard it would be to find one. It may be to uch work & cost but would be awesome here in the summer.

It was an option on the S420 and 500 I believe, but standard on the S600. It would be hard to install because it is power and has a button for it on the center console. Unless you know a good electrician who can wire it and all, I don't think it would be a wise retrofit. The shade automatically goes down when you put the car in reverse and actually keeps the sun out.

Leloz, Thanks for the input. It was an idea ( just not a good one). Besides as hard as it is to find used parts for an S class It would be hard to come by.
