I got clear corners for my W126, clear corners for my W140, a new hood star for my W140, and a grille kit for my W140.

I can't wait till they come. Here is what they will look like:

Don't forget the before and after pictures! And out of curiosity, why didn't you opt for the s600/avantegarde(spelling?) style grill?

I definately will take some before and after pics. The reason I didn't wanna get the S600 grille was cuz, I wanted something a little different, ya know?

But at the same time, I want to get a blacked out grille, but I didn't know how to do it, or where to purchase one from. Anyone know how or where?

Thanks.

A black stock grill? Most of the members in the w124 community have just removed the insert and painted it themselves. Most go with matte black but you can clear coat it if you want. Myself, since my car isn't black , when i paint it, its going to match the body color, smoked metallic silver which is a fancy form of tan. Pictures are in my sig

cool. Can I get the paint at a place like Wal-Mart or something, and also, is it spray paint?

Cool. Maybe it will be easier to black it out because of this grille kit.... Or maybe not...

You see, I am kinda aiming for this look with the grille:

Many thanks for the compliments guys.

Yes, zeaq, I will change to Euros for my W126, but I have got to get some money to buy them. They are $400-600 USD. :o

I am still waiting for my W126 clear corners. That seller said he sent them, but I sure have not received them. I hope they come soon.

Well, I like the pop up hood star. Also, I wanted my W140 to look classy, rather than very sporty and ricy. Just my opinion. I like the flat one though.
