Whats the fastest YOUVE taken your W140??
I got 140 in my 1995 s320. just curious to see what the big boys get.. (500, 600)

I am not a "big boy" but I have been to 165-170km/h in my 300sel/320.

In reply to your other thread, I'm not sure what the top speed is, mine was still pulling faster but it was whilst I was overtaking and I ran out of space in the passing lane, so I assume it should make it to the top speed on the speedo looking at my rev counter there should have been able to reach 250km or whatever it is.

137 @ redline in top gear in my S32. (with speedo error it shows 140 but its 137mph)

what is S32? I have never heard of such car. Is it a w140 with C32 engine? or supercharged S320?

No he took a stock 320 and modified the engine, hence "S32" sort of a home made AMG.

i gained roughly 20 hp with all of the mods, not bad for that hefty pig. but im onto E55's now . that M104 has tons of potential though.

I guess thats about as much as you can get without totally rebuilding an engine. There is a guy down here in New Zealand who is currently fitting a supercharger onto his 1993 500SEL, which should be good. The E55 must be alot of fun, massive HP and less weight than the barge that the W140 is, cool.

I know that .... i ask because my cuz has the same car back in venezuela...dosnt want to sell it, it only has 35000 KM on it, but its a lil slow sometimes.

at 120 MPH my S500 purred like a kitten. Barely broke 4000 RMP and felt like 70 mph in a "normal" car!
