OEM AMG parts?

Hi,
I am looking for AMG parts for a 1992 600sel. I want to buy every single part AMG made for the 600's (bodykit, wheels, performance parts, etc). How do I go about this? I know that AMG still supports these cars, but do I need a VIN number off a 600sel AMG to give to them to look up what parts are available? How do I go about this?
Thanks!

It would be easier to find all the parts with a VIN. You could register for the EPC and it will give you all the parts listed under the VIN. (http://epc.startekinfo.com/epc/) Once you have the part #s, you could purchase through parts.com. They have OEM parts cheaper than the dealer.

Thanks for the link! Where would I find the VIN off of a '92-'94 600sel AMG? Or even an actual AMG such as '92-'94 S73, S60, S70, etc. I am only interested in a '92-'94 because the newer '95+ W140s changed quite a few parts and had differences in the electric systems. I have heard though that I should look into the throttle bodies off of a '98 or '99 S600 because they have the 80mm throttle bodies. Is this true? And could I go larger than 80mm?

Can't comment on the TBs, but you could find a VIN off a car for sale. I usually check ebay when I need one.

If you want to go for the bigger throttle-bodies you'll probably need a tune. Not sure who (if anyone) still supports the W140 software. When I was at RENNtech, we stopped supporting the W140 software in '07.

Thanks! I might actually convert to a stand-alone ECU during this whole mess. Just so I could dyno the car and make adjustments as I felt necessary. I might even just throw in the Koenig-Specials 7.2L v-12 they have for sale (except I would bore out to 7.3L and tune to around 600hp [+/-50] and similar torque). My father wants me to turbo/supercharge it but I just feel that would ruin the character of the car. N/A never is the same is F/I. I'm still throwing ideas around at this point and I don't even have the car yet, its still somewhere back East on a transport headed my way. I just wanted to have a sort of plan of attack for when it got here. I am also thinking of pulling all of the wood out and replacing it with the Black Birdseye Maple (its black on black with burled walnut right now).

Ahh okay, I'll check around for AMG w140's that are for sale. I think maybe Japan/Europe would be my best resource to find the VIN, no?
