Gas Mileage 1998 s320

I have taken my first road trip from Florida to Atlanta Ga and to my surprise
I could not believe that such an old car gets 600 miles per tank of fuel.

Yeah Charlie 26 gallons, most cars hold half that amount.I use a half a bottle of Marvel Mystery Oil to a tankful. Both gas and diesel. Its a upper cylinder lube.Just like sulpher for diesel, and lead for gasoline.

Comfort , style & gas milage, what more can you ask for. My '96 has been the best car I ever owned. At just shy of 200K I don't do road trips anymore even though I have no reason not to other than not wanting to push my luck. Enjoy

I'd say keep on driving that car and don't slow down...push the mileage up on that baby...if it breaks, fix it and keep on driving...it's all worth it.

I am getting 550 km/ tank in my s320 (60/40- City/Hwy). This is with new OEM plugs and air filter replaced less than a month ago. I use only 94 Octane from Petro Canada. Any suggestions?

With my dynoed 31 extra horse power I went from a 17,5 in the 1/4 to 16.8,and gas mileage when driving normal is still the same.Using NGK splitfire plugs.
