Congrats on the new S600!!! Give it a good detailing job and it will look even better. Best of luck with it too. You will have a nice car to travel with on Thanksgiving
Are you located in Vermont?(The license plates gave me that clue)

Thank you
Actually not new, it was my dad's and after he passed away I inherited it so she's got alot of sentimental value to me. I keep her garaged 24/7 and start it up on the weekends. For a daily driver I have a Maxima. And yes I'm in Vermont!
I found a 2001 CL600 V12 online at a copart auction that I really wanted and it sold for only 3600 :O Just a theft car so no damage, ran and drove. Didn't buy it though. Now I'm looking for a Mercedes with a V12 in it for a daily driver

So I think I'm going to make this a summer / weekend car. I'm getting it inspected tomorrow. Nothing major is wrong with it, but only a few minor flaws. Does anyone have the link to the diagrams with part numbers? I can't find it anywhere, but I did find it a few months ago. I mainly need the interior one with the part numbers, but if you have the whole thing that'd be great. I want to get it ready for Wolfsgart this July!

bmstyle, that wasn't quite what I was looking for. I meant the full, several digit long, Mercedes-Benz part number. But thanks for trying! I called my local dealership and they said just stop by with my VIN.
Liam, they are a gas guzzler! I went on an hour and a half long cruise with her yesterday and burned through more than an 1/8 of a tank

You dodged a bullet, those '01 and '02 V12s are horribly unreliable.

After Sunday I ended up burning through a quarter tank after driving less than 5 hours
I also found out that the wood trim around the shifter is $1200 and the glove box door is $730 from the dealer... Too bad that wood trim sold on ebay last week, I found a glove box though.

Just an update-
I ended up getting all of the fluids flushed, several electrical problems taken care of, and got that wood trim.
Only thing that's left to do is install my Akebono Euro Ceramic brake pads, the SRS control module, and wait for my A/C parts to get in so it can get fixed.
WOLFSGART 2012 is at the end of the month, anyone else going?
Also, does anyone know what the wheels are made out of? They have several scratches in them and I want to know the proper way to polish them.
