1992 600SEL stalling when turning!
This is really strange. I went to start the car when the engine was cold to back it out of the garage. When I put it in D with the steering wheel turned, the car stalled! I restarted it and when accelerating out of the bend in the driveway, it stalled again. What`s worngÉ

You: Can I have a dozen spark plugs please?
Service: Sure, I will even throw in one extra for free!
Sorry man, dont mean to make fun of you. I hope
you find the problem and its maybe just a loose
spark plug wire or something simple.

I have a '92 500 and I have that problem when hot or cold. The engine drops revs when making a turn if I'm not on the throttle, and when off the throttle coasting, it bounces revs too. WTF?

Funny you should mention that... I replaced the stockers with the RamFX drop in ones that the Mercedes racing team uses on some of their cars. I was sent the elements for the wrong year, but I trimmed it to fit. It has the very annoying slime on them that really catches the dirt and is quite hard to get off your hands. I will put the stock ones back in and see what happens. I've also replaced the MAF just to see what that does, and there was no difference. I'll let you know what happens after I revert to the old filters if I still have them.
