What must I do to connect my Ipod

A jack can be added, but it involves removing COMAND and soldering the circuit board. Installation of an Ice>Link is much easier, from what I read.
If you don't want to do a little work on a quality integration, you can investigate some crappy solutions such as FM or wired "cassette" units.
Thanks for the help .. anyone!

I tried it out and found the sound quality to be lower than usual, but maybe you can try this option and aviod the hassle of retrofitting your sound system.
Good luck.
I found a Belkin "Car Kit For iPod" "TuneBase FM Transmitter. It has a cradle attached to a flexible adjustable stalk that plugs into your lighter. Works off the FM station. After plugging in, adjusted to an FM station 88.1, adjusted the treble and bass, I was very satisfied.
