They removed the center caps and got the lug bolts out. Then busted the first lock on the front left rim and I guess it collapsed on him. You can see the rim got wedged uder the fender with the rotor sitting on the back of the rim.

Wow! A car like this needs to be put in a garage. What damages are visible?
Glad that the plan to steal your car failed.

Normally cars are in the garage but I have an addition going on right now and garages are out of commission for a while. I normally take them down my driveway which is pretty safe but came home late from a friends and decided to park it in front of my house...My bad!

I had the suspension, alignment and rim checked and no damage BUT both fender wells are rolled outwards. They either pulled the car up from the fenders to fit the jack or the car collapsed on the guy and they had to pull the car up. If you see the pic with the wheel wedged under the fender the person must of got his hand wedged inbetween.

Hope those f$%#ers don't come back. It might be worthwhile to ask around for anyone saw guys hanging around the area (i.e. car make/model/license plate. It looks like a nice area that you live in.

Were those rock there before?

Man this pisses is me off I am glad they got nothing. Buy some kind of motion detector that is hidden from the street that alerts you in your room. Load up your pistol or rifle and say hello if they ever return

What I'm wondering is -----Your ALARM SHOULD'VE WENT OFF WHEN THEY JACKED IT UP IN THE AIR! It must be defective because everytime I've taken a wheel off w/Alram "ON" the car Alarm goes off like crazy

Please get your factory alarm checked out "I HATE THIEVES"

Bummmmer! Gives me a queasy feeling just looking at it.

Is that frost on the car or some kind of powder residue? Your alarm really should have sounded...

Actually the alarm was on and it did go off. O.K. if we were to try to figure it out I think they had 2 jacks one on each side. When they jacked up the car it went off which probably scared them. Somehow the jack got loose and thats when the car dropped. They probably grabbed the one jack but left the other and boogied.
By the way I dont know if anyone elses car does this but even if the alarm is OFF the the alarm will still set off if the car is jacked up. It made me jump a mile when the alarm went off when I was jacking the other side up to install new lug bolts. I had the car alarm off and the door open when I did it.I called Mercedes and they said its some safety feature they have. I was impressed.

Yes mine does that too, it's supose to go off even when not set w/doors open, you gotta hit that button on the dash that looks like a tow hook.
If you heard it why didn't you go investigate and kick some *** :v

Glad no harm was done and you didn't end up w/car balanced on those blocks

..........here in Atlanta, some guy that owns a G500 with 22 inch chrome rims found his truck sitting on the ground when he returned for lunch. Spectators said it was quite a site to see the truck on the floor without wheels. Looks like these things are going to keep happening.

How does someone have enough time to jack a G when it's that heavy and without witnesses?
