Someone Stole My Car !!
well about an hr I went outside to the garage to put a coat of wax on one of the Benzes and I look over and spot the S500 not in its usual spot .. no biggie maybe the wife went to get me a 12 pack and some smokes ...
well much to my surprise my wife is in the house ... and the S500 is gone ...
now what can I do to track that thing .... got a good suspect in mind but wont be able to prove anything ... DAMMIT pisses me off .... !!!!
and the cops well the usual we have reported it stolen so if we happen to stop it we will let you know about it ....
DAMMIT .....

yeah I know this is the 3rd car in my lifetime they have stolen and its still not a good feeling especially out of my damn garage at my house .. when we are all inside the house .... thats messed up ... they even have access to my garage now .. with the opener in the car ... gonna have to change that too ....
well time to shop for another S500 or maybe even a S55 for the wife ... CRAPOLA !!!!

Whoa....Dude...how did they get in the garage? Does your opener have rolling code or is it an older one? I keep mine in the garage and have a rolling code opener. You have to ask your self...who had access?

Dude, MB can track your car! It may cost you some but whenever my cars alarm goes off I get a call from MB telling me where the car is when the alarm is on. Even if your cars alarm did not activate, MB has GPS to help the stupid cops find your car. Hope it's in one piece when you find it. Since your in Texas it should be legal to go ahead and shoot the person that stole your car. LOL Good Luck!

Call MBUSA and tell them what happened...I have seen police departments working with GM's On Star service on a stolen Hummer...they can track the car and covertly listen in on conversations inside the car to determine who and what is going on. Good Luck.

the garage door was open ... we were all here at the house .. I was going to wax the CL when I went outside the car was gone ...
about a month ago someone took one of the car keys off the key rack at my house and reported it to the cops and Mercedes made me a key .. me like an idiot thought that the old key would not be good anymore I guess I was wrong so all they had to do was get in the car start it and drive off in it ...
not to mention the fact that I live in a private subdivision with gate and all ...
well we are not giving up yet ... hope when I call the insurance company they dont tell me that the car is worthless since its the old body style

Dude, sorry for loosing your ride. MB tracks your car so stop wasting time and call tele-aid, have them track your car while you are on hold, once tracked call the cops with location. The more time you waste the more time you give them to chop so get on that phone now.

I am on Mercedes Like Stink on **** right now .. the only problem is that we are about 5 miles from the mexico border ... change the plates and drive across the border is what Im worried about ... but hoping that the punk that took it still has it parked in his garage at home ...

Good News ????
well I guess that TeleAid does really work .. they found the car relayed the info to the Local PD which called the PD in the town where the car was at and voila there it is parked in some dudes driveway about 5 miles from my house , along with a few other vehicles ... and guess what the car had Mexican Tags on it already ... ready for export ... got off the phone with the investigator lady and she told me that they did scratch the car up a bit .. but the interior looks ok .. since they did have the keys no need to break anything .... so now my wife heading over to the PD to take pics .(will post later on

strictly Suppression ... and also reliability ... I fire the cans dry .. never spit in them ... my favorite right now is the HEMS 2 for my USP Tactical ... just got that in a few weeks ago ...

now what do I do ?
take the car to the MB dealer and get new keys .. I called and asked and they told me that they had never done a reset of the keys on an S Class..
that key is still out there and they can use it again in my car ...

I have been told by MBUSA that when you report a key lost or stolen that the dealer "programs" the missing key as non operational. In my way of thinking that is possible but the perp still has the "mechanical" key. He can get in the car but can't start it once the old key is taken out of the "list". Call your dealer parts manager or someone in parts that is sharp on this for an explanation..... or call MBUSA customer service for an explanation. BTW...didn't the law recover the key with the car?
Then again...you could leave the S in the drive way and set up a machine gun nest on the roof...and wait.
I'm curious...any significant degradation of the muzzle velocity w/suppresion?
