im going against the majority of the board here in stating that i would have no trouble owning a bmw. their engines are to die for and the handling cant be beat.
why dont you guys like bmw's?

i just decided to wander over to my e-mail today and i see something from a special someone and i won't publish their names..
it said stuff how i am spoiled and arrogant and such and why my father didn't get the s600 if there is no wait on it..
couple reasons.. we just got a sl500.. is it asking too much to enjoy this car for a while? also arent first year cars a tad bit more prone to problems? yeah, i thought so.. why didn't we wait for a second year sl500, cuz my dad doesnt like the image of a 8 year old lexus.. lol
i know some of my messages are completely prone with spelling mistakes.. does that mean you have to insult me.. maybe its because i'm young and i chat a lot online and its gotten to me :P :P
why should i get off the boards till i turn at least 25? just because i am younger then you doesn't mean i don't know much about a topic.. how many 14 year olds can completely set up a wireless network and a wired one with 15 computers with encryption and all.. and build those 15 computers, and tech support them all.. what if i told you all those systems are dual processor amd's? just because i'm 14 does that suddenly make me computer illiterate?
and i belive i answered the last complaint in the beginning.. i hope yall hear me out on this..

The 535 isn't even that old and it's a piece of crap waiting for the owner to just let it die. If the problem was as simple as a dead battery, then it could have been any car, but because I couldn't jump it after numerous tries, it was obviously a more serious problem than just solenoid. Also if you heard the same horror stories I have from numerous BMW-owners turned Lexus-owners, you would develop a distaste for them as well. I also have four or five friends with BMW 3-series ranging from a 1996 328i to a 2002 M3 TT. I'm always hearing about their cars being in service. I also agree with Krispy K about "BMW mentality". My friend's roomate has a BMW Bavaria and him and his other friend with a Bavaria are convinced they drive the king of all cars. I had one of those douche bags in my car driving to a night club in the city and for an hour I had to hear his bull**** about how BMWs are God's gift to man. He was also critiquing my car the whole damn trip. I wanted to break his face right then and there I was so irritated. I've also had numerous run-ins with BMW as$hole drivers. This one guy pissed me off so bad I followed him to his house. Anyway, that's where I'm coming from.

LS 430 is not for eveyone styling wise (as I could not buy it or drive it) but a lot of people like cars with a large grill and lot's of presence. I think the Euro mag "EVO" calls it BEAST in apprearance.

Unlike the LS430, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class does not need to have a tuner slap on a body kit to make the car look half decent.
The S-Class looks and is extremely sporty, aggressive, powerful, while at the same time very serene. You just can't beat the looks of the S-Class, nomatter what body kit you throw on a LS430, the looks just cannot even compare to that of an S.
