lol, no offense, but that wasnt a e55..that is a very old photo, like almost 4 months....or more....and that is just a regular e-class that brabus worked on....those rims, the front and rear bumper/skirts are all from brabus. The rims are of course from brabu too

i HATE jags.. i don't know why but i just do.. i've never sat in one.. never drove one.. never gone to the crap-o dealers but i just have this instinct where i HATE them.. its worse then my hatred of hyndai.. .. lol

They're British cars. Of course you're scared of em. The Brits have a worse repair history than a MY00 S-class.
It's just how my dad hates Audis with a passion because of how they used to be. Only difference? The Brits still make cars that crap out.

yea, i was pushing my dad to buy a s-type last year, even though he says they look good, i just say they are still crappy.....that was the worst decision about telling him to get the s-type, i am very happy with the e500

XK-8 and XJ series (I like the XK-R and XJ-R or a Silverstone) are the only true Jags. I love em.
The S-type is a average and is not a serious competitor to BMW, Benz and Lexus. Cheap. Looks like a Tauras. BASED on a Thunderbird????
X-type is even worse and at 44k loaded, they are smoking crack. Looks even more like a Taurus. Sad really.
On the Jag board, those dudes have more problem threads than good threads, but they are based on Fords, which tells me all I need to know.

Accord, despite all that time and effort posting S-class pictures, I can honestly say that none of those pictures you posted inspired anything from me. The S-class looks so awkward from those shots, they actually look better in person than from those professional photo shoots. The LS430 pictures on the other hand were gorgeous to the point where I had to save them on my computer 
. I'm no Lexus fanatic, don't get me wrong, there are plenty of beautiful Benzos. Namely the coupes: SL, CL, and old CLK. But it amazes me how one-track you are to say that the Fabulous Celsiors look butt ugly. Those are some of the sweetest looking sedans I've ever seen. But I guess some can't appreciate the VIP styling. Oh well, on to the pics...

The LS430 is not a bad car, but it surely is nothing spectacular. The LS430 is just an average car you see on the road, nothing special about it.
I don't care how obsessed with Lexus you are... even the diehard BMW lovers over at DTMPower who detest Mercedes-Benz love the S-Class.
I really do think you love the look of the S-Class, but you just don't want to say it because that would go against everything you have said throughout this entire thread D.

Rode in a friend's Jaguar XK8 I think it was? It was a sports coupe anyway. The interior was NOTHING special at all and the alternative ticking sound of the turn signal was pretty lame and distracting. That's pretty much all I can remember about the car.

VIP styling? The LS430 is nothing more than average. From the headlight design to the overall box look of the car, it is just average. You are EXTREMELY bias by saying the pictures of the S-Class I posted do nothing for you, but those butt ugly pictures of the LS430 have supreme "VIP styling." i dont like the S class look either for some reason. It looks too long and out of proportion. It also rides very high off the ground which is another downside and the 02 and pre 02 headlights are "butt ugly"

JFawwaz and KrispyK pretty much summed it up for me. From certain angles, the S-class looks sleek and sexy, but from many others it just doesn't look right. I'm talking about size, shape, contour, lines, etc.
