Thank you.
Here's mine installed without problems by MB Dealership.

P.S. Wheel looks a bit brighter because of the camera flash, it's a complete calyptus match in real life.

You should understand this wheel is NOT a replica, it is manufactured by Mercedes-Benz.
I chose it because it's ergonomic, and I don't regret it. I had driven S500 with original wood & leather combo and I like mine better though.
Don't recall the labor cost because I've done it in 2004.

I communicated with another forum member. Did some more research and purchased the steering wheel. Went to a recommended MB/BMW shop, the mechanic installed the steering wheel in 10 minutes like a skilled surgeon with me sitting in the passenger seat. Charged was $50.00, Stealership wanted $125.00. I also purchased a wooden gear shift knob to match the wood. I was lucky, the color and wood was a perfect match. The look is very impressive. My regret was maybe I should have gone with the sports steering wheel. I had to give up the old wheel. I discovered the old wheels were taken to Asia and changed to the highest quality wood. I hesitated at first too. No regrets for the price I paid, I believe the wheel will out last the ownership of my S430. Whatever you decide to spend it will definitely improve the interior and worth it.
My two cents, good luck.
Will it fit a w210? How much dos it cost?
So you have posted on a 4 year old thread. I see you haven't done much on the forum yet and the moderators can always give you more tips, but seriously it is better to start a new thread and reference the old one in your new posting that 300-400 people will actually open and read based on the interest generated by your subject line. Also, having your location show up is a huge plus for responses.
Anyway, I looked at the thread and I seriously think that the wheel is nothing more than Chinese imitation burlwood. It doesn't look remotely close to OEM although the poster discounted the pictures so I could easily be wrong.
I have heard and seen way too many horror stories about guys buying "tricked up" burlwood matching interior accessories like this on ebay and being very dissatisfied with the match, the ability to retain the steering wheel controls, the reliability of the airbag/horn/alignment/etc.
Thanks and best of luck in your search. I use Craigslist to actually go see these type of things in person first to verify quality and match. Just another idea.
