Race between 2002 BMW 745 and 2002 S500 Mercedes Benz
my friend owns an 02'' bmw with a 4.4L engine and a i got a 2002 S500 with a 5.0L engine i believe, now who would win a race on the highway since they have similar specs??

I wouldn't bet the farm on the race.
Published 0-60 times are 5.9 for the 745i and 6.1 for the S500. He's got about 30 HP and a gear on you, but a couple hundred pounds extra weight.

the s class will win no doubt...s class will also outhandle it as well. my money is on the s class. i raced a e500 and won!!!! u can do the same except against a bmw our arch rivals
p.s. try to get an 05 it has a upgrade transmsion for the race

when i said 05 i meant 2005 if i was going to say 5 series i wouldnt have said 05 ...i would have said 5 series. plus where not talking about 5 series why would i mention a 5series when were comparing a the 745 to s500 .. but the answer to ur question is that you cannot compare the two because its two different classes....
