AMG wheels on S430

Hey guys,

installed new AMG wheels on my S430. Cost me only $300 after I sold my stock wheels for $250 (cost me $550). Heck of a deal. The ride height is perfect IMO and I really like how it transformed the look of the car, enjoy.

Ebay, this guy was selling it, he barely spoke english. I think he just didnt' realize what he had. The tires are decent, i should be able to get another 2 months out of them before i replace them with something else.

those 19's do look hot but this was merely a case of once in a lifetime deal, I couldn't pass it up so i wasn't picky, upgrading to AMGs for $300 was all that mattered to me.

I wish there was spring pads on these newer air suspension cars to make a drop easier. What you think about updated tails & headlights? just leave as is?

are you kidding? you cant get easier than Airmatic to drop a Mercedes.. do a search with my user name. You will find you can drop your W220 without even removing your wheels. Plus its practically free to lower your car if you have spare hardware around the house.

after doing some research I see your washer-drop mod is a bit controversial, some like it others don't. Either way congrats on making it work, I think for now I'm just gonna stick with stock ride height. Thanks
