hey guys i new to the board my father just bought an 06 s430. sry no pics yet the car is getting serviced.. the car comes with the stock 17inch rims and i was wondering where can i get nice replica amg rims... personally i like the amgII rims with the rivets but my father like that rims just without the rivets... can anyone lead me towards a direction or any other advice on a nice classis mercedes wheel

 

i thought they stopped making s430..anyway for the rims check out ebay..

Err...the S430 existed throughout the whole W220 "life cycle".

Yeah, I remember them having the Sport Package or the 4Matic option free of charge in 2006. But apparently not all had it. Maybe build date has something to do with it.

They stopped making both of them but in 07 when they retired the W220.

The S430 and the S500 was in production the same length of time. A long 7 years... That says a lot for the W220. ( all issues aside ). The style really held it's place in the automotive market for a good long time. Any other bodies of late lasted that long?? Hmmm.. W203? nope. W211? Nope...only the W163 I believe but that's a truck.

 

From year 04-06 I'd get one...

 

The W220 S-Class was actually available since 1998 (in Europe, iirc). So that's 8-9 years!

 

Oh yeah I forgot about that.. That's even more fascinating!!
