DVD Command CD
I have a 2001 S500 and desparately in need of the command dvd. I recently purchased my S500 and a few things were missing (floor mats, nav cd, manuals etc.) Anyone know where i can score/purchase/obtain an updated version of the nav cd for the NY/NJ area along with the manuals.

Navigation CDs: a set of 10 covering the U.S. and Canada from your dealer, the only way they come, about $275; or ebay. Release date is 1/07, and the part number is BQ 6 46 0222. They are usually updated once a year.
Because you have an '01, you needn't worry about the "C" or "D" nav question that you may see on the forum. That was an issue only for the '00 model.
You can order the printed Owner's Manual, COMAND Manual, Service Manual, and Voice Control Manual (if you have it) from the dealer or through a contact number on the MBUSA (www.mbusa.com) site.
However, also see http://www.benzworld.org/forums/w220...ghlight=MBUSA; you may be able to download an electronic copy of the owner's manual from the MBUSA site - although they're not supposed to be posted for models earlier than 2004, some folks with older models have had success. You can also download the service manual there. There is a link to Paul Dick's great site for your COMAND manual; and the same site has a manual for Voice Control System (VCS) as well (though it may differ from your car a bit).

Some forum members have been willing to break up a set and sell unneeded discs. You'll have to watch the forum - and perhaps do some searching.
Other than that, it's ebay - but you pays your money and takes your chances.
If you're talking about manuals, I gave you the way to get several free. Other than that, it's e-bay for those not available as downloads.
