Finally finished this build. Won first in the Euro category at the Neo Street Car Show in Hawaii. I'll post the mod list later. (VIP styling is not for the faint of heart...)

I love the VIP stance!

 

Love the car... everything looks perfect.

The one thing that I do not care too much for is the chrome molding on the pillars... a little tacky for an S-Class... but otherwise it's a fabulous ride.

 

well, its actually not terrible. Im a huge fan of the stock styling and really don't care for most body kits. The front and rear bumpers are pretty good. The fenders I could strongly do without.

However, in that first picture, it looks like the bottom of the front door does not line up with the rear door. Was the car in an accident or something?

 

No accident damage. The lower door panels that comes with the kit has grooves in them so you can open the door.

I also have a full authentic AMG kit for sale with sensor and moldings for anyone who lives in Hawaii. PM me an offer!

 

Looks great.....one thing though. You won't know how good it feels, when you ride on wood and leather steering wheel.

Hey I love the VIP style , i posted a wald thread the other day. Rich great wheels I have the same ones. I think they designed those just for the S class because they are the perfect rims.

I love the VIP rims but its so hard to find auto couture , fab , work etc in the mainland. I bet its easier in hawaii to source jdm parts.

I don't drive it that low...that's why we have air. I wish I could have laid it out for the show but I wouldn't be able to fit my jack under the car to get it back up. I guess it's time to order a low profile jack.

 

VIP is huge in hawaii and parts are getting easier to find. But I know there are shops in cali that bring in VIP parts all the time. Hopefully the next time you're in hawaii you'll get to check out some our local shops.

 

nicely done! how were you able to lower the car more for the show? did you use the star system to let the air out?

 

I got adjustable links from here http://www.adjustableairride.com They work great! Better then spending 5gs on new air.

 

oh ok Thats what I was thinking you might have done, but there is a way using the star computer to temp let all the air out by opening the valves to "check" them. What size rear tire are you running and how much did you have to roll the inner fender or trim the metal?

tires are 225/30/20 and 245/30/20. didn't have to pull and roll too much. most of the rubbing was on the rear bumper where i trimmed a little.

ive got another question... with using the adjustable air ride links wouldnt the same switch to raise and lower the car work??? why would you need a jack? also how easy is the air compressor is to be replaced, id like to use another compressor with the same lines

 

Fu$% all these haters, Car looks amazing. 10 out of 10 keep it going man this car is by far the nicest S55 I have seen anywhere.

 

Who is "hating"? I don't think anyone is trashing this car...
