Here is a pic of a Shop my dad turned me on to in Ohio. they did this to a 2000 S Class. I was thinking about doing dark gray inserts to match my dash but it was too much trouble to get them the seats plus they wanted $2500 so I changed my mind.
I don't really like the benz but otherwise they do Awesome work. They have customized all of his cars for him.
the 2006 Acura TL was his. He's since gotten rid of it though.( I didn't care for that either but it was a nice car..LOL )

Oh okay..LOL I thought that car made its way East... Wouldn't be surprised...
They actually showed me that car when they were tring to sell me inserts.. althought I don't like anything about that car, I have to say the pics make it look even worse ( inside ). Nothing could make it look any worse outside..LOL
JMO of course...
Anyway It was just a link to an example of what daboss wants to do to his car. That car popped in my head when I read his request...
glad you found humor in it. you manage to find humor in a lot of things on here..LOL its cool sometimes...

The acutal decision of what get's customized is the customer's right? so regardless to who has bad taste, they do what they are asked just like anybody with a business that's interested in staying in busness would right?
But as you can see by some of their gallery pics. Some folks just have no sense of taste at all..LOL...
The Acura for example, I don't like it either, but they did a really good job on it. It looks factory. I saw it the first time 2 years ago in Memphis. I thought "YUK" but as I looked closely at the actual job, the workmanship to me was good. But I would hope so, I think those guys are pretty pricey. But that's all they do so.. I guess they know what they are doing.
When I saw my dad's convertible, I thought it came from the factory that way.. It looks really good. but I guess its the car and the colors. He has a dark red with gray interior. They did inserts in the same dark red as the car and used matching stitching. It actually looks really good.
I was impressed. That's how I ended up with an appointment with them to talk about my car.
This link was not an advertisement of that shop nor an endorsement of how well they do work. They have their business there and have been doing well for years so there's no need for me to do that. Plus thay are 1700 miles away from me..LOL
I was simply showing you an example of what the inserts would "kinda" look like. I remembered seeing that car when I read your post.
I don't even know who's car that is and never really gave much thought to till you reminded me of it.

Well I still think they do good work...I mean in terms of quality of work and craftsmanship.

i remember seeing one on "car and driver" magazine or another car magazine, i think it was a brabus S600 that was made for the prince of Saudi arabia, it had white and black interior, it was sickkk.
i found the article but it only have 1 picture of the interior
here is the link anyway:
http://www.roadandtrack.com/article....rticle_id=4416
BTW: i think the other brabus posted on here is also amazing, but the other one (silver s430) is absolutly hideous, i woulndt put that interior and rims on my car even if someone pays me to do it
